Sustainable materials: what we use and why

Durability first — the most sustainable product is the one you do not replace.

We start with materials that survive mud, UV, and repeated packing. Recycled content matters, but a harness that fails after one season creates more waste than a longer-lived conventional blend.

We use recycled polyester where abrasion resistance is critical — shell fabrics on bags and mats. Hardware is metal, not painted plastic, because broken clips land in the trash faster than worn webbing.

Packaging stays minimal: one recyclable mailer, no nested boxes, no glossy inserts you will throw away before the walk. The care card is a single uncoated sheet.

We publish care instructions so pieces last: rinse salt after beach days, air-dry before storing, and avoid leaving gear in a hot car trunk all summer. Maintenance is part of sustainability.
